What Kana is

Kana proves your team's devices meet SOC 2 device-trust controls.

Admins log in, subscribe, and set up their team one person at a time; each person installs Kana and it reports back to the board.

For admins

1. Log in with Google Admin
2. Subscribe ($20 a month)
3. Pick a person on your Team page and click Set up with Kana

For your team

1. Open the email
2. Sign in with your work Google
3. Download Kana
4. Click Join

Kana runs on macOS, Linux, or Windows — the download page finds your platform automatically.

What the board colours mean

• Green — Kana is installed, the device is reporting, every required control passes.
• Yellow — installed and reporting, at least one required control fails.
• Red — not installed, offline, or no report at all.

Installing on managed Macs

Kana is installed by each person from the download link. Silent install onto managed Macs is not available until Apple approves our MDM vendor certificate.
